Ready Steady Save

Designing an experiential activation providing tips for saving money and energy during the rising cost of living in 2022

Challenge

The cost of living is a growing concern for many Manchester residents, yet the average household throws away £60 worth of good food every month.

Approach

Ready Steady Save uses gamification to highlight how money-saving and climate action go hand in hand. Leading with the benefits to households, the activation is packed with tips, games and prizes. Through humour and playfulness, the topics covered include how to make food last longer, understanding the difference between best before and use-by dates, and how to save money by switching to plant-based meals.

I directed the concept development, designed the look and feel of the activation, wrote the copy, and briefed Bazaar Studio who fabricated the activation.
